 CUZCO & MACHU PICCHU
3, 4 and 5 Day Trips

These popular programs takes you to the most important Inca sites of Cuzco, the Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu.
From the archaeological ruins of Cuzco including Sacsayhauman, Kenko, Pucapucara & Tambo Machay.
A trip to the famous Pisac Market to barter for the hand made textiles then to the massive fortress of Ollantaytambo.
The trip would not be complete without the scenic train ride to the fabled Machu Picchu site hidden deep in the Andean mountains.
We recommend that if time allows to plan a extra day at Machu Picchu for a overnight
or even a freeday in Cuzco for shopping at relaxing in the city of the Inca.
This trip can be combined to any other of our short excursions from Cuzco to...
the Amazon, Lake TiticacaNazca Lines / Ballestas Islands, Chiclayo,Trujillo or Lima.
( We as well offer extentions to Ecuador & Bolivia )
All of our programs operate with daily departures suite to meet your travel and time.

Day 2-Our staff will meet and transfer you in the morning (8:45 -9:00 a.m.) into the Sacred Valley of the Inca passing by the Inca terraces and farm land of this fertile region until the town of Pisac and proceed to the Ancient Pisac Market for the annual show where many of the local Indians sell & barter their hand made textiles, fresh fruits & vegetables. After a hour or so of mingling with the locals you will proceed to have lunch at a local hacienda restaurant in the Sacred Valley. The huge precisely carved stones were transported somehow by hundreds of men down one mountain range to the Ollantaytambo location and fitted perfectly to support a strategic fortress that has bared the test of time. There is as well the "silos" or grain mills that are directly adjacent to the fortress and were to have maintained thousands of pounds of grain for the Inca and its people. You will have time for some photos and additional shopping before your return to Cuzco and your hotel in the early evening.
