 My friends and I recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to

My sister-in-law Jennifer pretty much summed up our trip in her letter to you.  The quality of the accommodations, tours, food
& general ambiance definitely exceeded my expectations.  The Peruvian people were so friendly & helpful, and the food was fabulous (I love papaya!).  The tour guides were exceptional everywhere - Freddy (Cuzco & environs), Francisco (Machu Picchu), Carlos & Monica (Explorer's Lodge) & Milagro (Lima).  And Ruth was so conscientious about getting us everywhere on time.
The promptness of response by everyone when our itinerary got set back a day literally amazed us!  Ruth  certainly made that transition easier for us!  Cuzco is an extraordinary city to spend extra time in, so the extra day there was welcomed.  Again, thanks for making this a wonderful trip - I would not hesitate to recommend you to any of my friends.  In fact, there's so much more of Peru to see, another trip may be in my future!

 Chris, I just gave a friend a referral to your agency and realized that I never did
say thank-you after returning from my trip to Peru 4 months ago - better late than never, right?  Tambo Tours was a total lifesaver for my friends
and I.  We had originally planned our trip with another tour company, but they lied to us and also screwed up our Inca trail permits, so we thought we wouldn't be able to do the one thing we wanted to do in Peru the most!  In desperation, I called around to different agencies to see if anyone could help us out, and Tambo Tours was the only one willing to help us.  Working
with Chris at Tambo was a complete dream compared to the other travel agency.  He gave us very personalized service, made awesome recommendations,
and constantly kept us in the loop on the progress of our itinerary.  In the end, not only did you guys get us on the Inca trail, but your total cost was less than what we had planned on paying for the exact same itineray with the other company!  Our trip was fabulous and we had wonderful guides, especially Juan at the Wasai lodge and Marisol for the Inca trail portion of our trip.  We saw so many amazing things in Peru, but we couldn't possibly
see it all.  Now we're all talking about booking a second trip back to Peru through Tambo in a few years!
