My sister-in-law Jennifer pretty much summed up our trip in her letter to you.  The quality of the accommodations, tours, food & general ambiance definitely exceeded my expectations.  The Peruvian people were so friendly & helpful, and the food was fabulous (I love papaya!).  The tour guides were exceptional everywhere - Freddy (Cuzco & environs), Francisco (Machu Picchu), Carlos & Monica (Explorer's Lodge) & Milagro (Lima).  And Ruth was so conscientious about getting us everywhere on time.
The promptness of response by everyone when our itinerary got set back a day literally amazed us!  Ruth  certainly made that transition easier for us!  Cuzco is an extraordinary city to spend extra time in, so the extra day there was welcomed.  Again, thanks for making this a wonderful trip - I would not hesitate to recommend you to any of my friends.  In fact, there's so much more of Peru to see, another trip may be in my future!
